Coronavirus (CO-VID 19) update – teacher training applications 2020-21

Following the partial closure of schools, we wanted to let you know what this means for teacher training applications for places starting in September 2020.

• You can still apply for a place on one of our teacher training programmes for September 2020 via UCAS
• All open evenings are cancelled until further notice.  However, you can contact us for an information pack which can be emailed to you or please browse our website for further information
• You can call or email us if you have any questions or would like to find out more details about our teacher training programmes
• We will continue to process applications and invite potential candidates for interview
• Interviews will not be conducted in person but will instead be a telephone or video interview at an agreed time.  Any activities which require you to be at our SCITT centre will be conducted at a later date (as per Government advice)

We understand that this is a challenging time for everybody and we are doing our utmost to maintain a level of stability for our current trainee teachers and for those who are interested in becoming teachers in the future.  Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
