Throughout the year, we run a series of Open Sessions so that you can visit us at Chepping View Primary Academy or at one of our Trust or Partnership Schools. At these sessions, there will be a presentation by one of the SCITT senior leaders and then a time for questions and an informal chat. Anyone considering a career in primary school teaching is encouraged to attend.

This unique event brings together a number of local and national industry experts, including local universities, teacher training institutions, and more. Representatives of the Department for Education Advisors will also be in attendance.
As well as the opportunity to meet professionals and students face to face, there will be a programme of talks taking place throughout the day, where you can hear from experts in education, and learn about:
- Routes into teaching
- How to apply (applications, qualifications, and compliance)
- Early Years, Primary & Secondary SCITT programme
- Apprenticeships, AO route, career changes, and PGCE providers
